About the Havapoo
Here at Lake Country Canines we are absolutely crazy for Havapoos (aka Poonese or Havadoodles). They are a small dog on the size scale weighing only 8-12 lbs full grown. They are known for their happy go lucky attitudes and willingness to please their families. They may be small in stature but they have giant personalities.
Havapoo puppies are highly intelligent. They are easy to train and are an excellent choice for first time dog owners. Their size makes them ideal for apartment owners or small houses. They love to cuddle and are perfect lap dogs. They do not require a crazy amount of exercise. A quick run in the back yard will suffice.
While Havapoo puppies are non-shedding, they will require some grooming. They have soft, wavy coats that do need to be brushed on a regular basis. Professional grooming will need to be done every 8-12 weeks depending on how you like your puppy to look.
Overall if you are looking for a small, non-shedding, happy puppy who is going to most happy cuddling and playing with you, the Havapoo is the dog for you.
